A pizza joint in Germany has been shut down after police discovered it was delivering cocaine alongside one of its pizza orders. Authorities began investigating and uncovered the illegal operation following a tip-off from food inspectors in March.
According to police, customers could order “pizza number 40” to receive a portion of cocaine with their meal. During the raid, the pizzeria’s manager reportedly threw a bag of drugs out of his apartment window, which landed directly in the hands of the waiting officers. Police subsequently seized 1.6 kilograms of cocaine, 40 grams of cannabis, and €268,000 in cash. The manager was briefly detained but reopened the business shortly after, continuing the illicit sales.
This persistence allowed law enforcement to follow the supply chain more closely, leading to a large-scale bust involving 150 officers. The operation dismantled a wider drug network in western Germany, resulting in the arrest of three individuals.
