The petition was launched by Women For Change, a local advocacy group, which is urging authorities and event organizers to cancel Brown’s December performance at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. The organization cited his history of abuse as the basis for their protest.
Despite the controversy, Brown remains undeterred. He responded directly to the petition on Women For Change’s Instagram page with a brief message: “Can’t wait to come,” reaffirming his plans to perform for his South African fans.
