Rwanda has been ranked as one of the top performers in the World Bank’s newly launched Business Ready (B-READY) Report, reaffirming its reputation as one of Africa’s most attractive investment destinations. The report was unveiled on Wednesday, 23 October.
The inaugural B-READY Report evaluated the business environments of 50 global economies, focusing on key areas such as regulatory frameworks, public service delivery, and operational efficiency. Rwanda’s strong performance across these pillars places it among the leading global economies in terms of business readiness, further enhancing its appeal to international investors.
The B-READY assessment used ten indicators, including business entry, business location, utility services, labour force, financial services, international trade, and taxation. Rwanda’s high rankings in these categories show its efforts to streamline business operations and attract both local and foreign investments.
