Govt declares Tuesday a national holiday

Interior CS Fred Matiang’i has declared Tuesday a national holiday to allow Kenyans to cast their votes.

In a gazette notice dated July 29, Matiang’i said this will allow Kenyans to participate in the 2022 general elections of Members of Parliament, Members of County Assemblies and County Governors.
