Deputy President William Ruto has denied claims that he wanted to overthrow the President.
Speaking during a meeting with Mt Kenya elders in Nairobi, the DP said such accusations should be directed to the Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate & former PM Raila Odinga.
“The person known for going against the Kenyan Constitution is known. He wanted to overthrow the government in 1982 and then recently swore himself in as the President to overthrow the Constitution. My friend, you must be confusing me with your project,” The DP said in response to the President’s remarks.
